On March 26 local time, NIO opened its first store in Latin America—and its first overseas store featuring all three of its brands—at the Combai Mercado Urbano shopping center in San José, Costa Rica. Built in collaboration with NIO’s local general distributor, Horizontes Cielo Azul, the store marks Costa Rica as the first overseas market where NIO has simultaneously launched its three brands: NIO, ONVO, and Firefly. Customers in the country can now purchase the ET5 Touring (known domestically as the ET5T), EL6 (ES6), EL8 (ES8), ONVO L60, and Firefly models. Additionally, pre-sales for the ONVO L90 will commence on April 16 at EXPOMOVIL, Costa Rica’s annual auto show.
