The FAW Audi A6L e-tron will officially launch on April 10. Pre-sales began on March 25, with four variants offered at a pre-sale price range of RMB 313,000 to RMB 443,000. The new model is the all-electric version of the latest-generation Audi A6L, built on the PPE (Premium Platform Electric) architecture. It measures 5,073 mm in length, 1,942 mm in width, and 1,522 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,076 mm, positioning it as a mid-to-large-size sedan. Exterior-wise, the vehicle retains Audi’s signature large single-frame grille design and features split headlights: the upper section houses LED daytime running lights offering eight customizable light patterns, while the lower section integrates low- and high-beam headlamps seamlessly into the grille. At the rear, a full-width taillight utilizes second-generation OLED technology, supporting eight dynamic lighting signatures and capable of displaying warning symbols in case of accidents or malfunctions. Inside, the cabin features a 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.5-inch central touchscreen, and a 10.9-inch passenger entertainment display equipped with dual modes—privacy and diffusion—for enhanced viewing experience. These three screens work in concert to create a seamless panoramic display. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip, the vehicle also includes an 88-inch AR-HUD that projects critical information such as speed, traffic signs, and navigation guidance. For intelligent driving, the A6L e-tron is equipped with Huawei’s Qiankun advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS), standard dual LiDAR sensors, and supports full-scenario functionalities including highway and urban NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) and multi-level memory parking. The powertrain adopts an 800V high-voltage architecture. The single-motor variant uses an imported motor from Hungary, delivering a maximum output of 260 kW. Higher trims feature dual motors (front and rear), achieving a combined peak output of 405 kW and a top speed of 200 km/h. The battery, supplied by CATL, is a nickel-cobalt-manganese (NCM) ternary lithium unit, offering a CLTC-rated range of up to 785 km. With a maximum charging power of 270 kW, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes, and a 10-minute charge adds up to 302 km of range.
