On April 11, at the High-Level Forum on Intelligent and Electric Vehicle Development, Yu Kai, founder and CEO of Horizon Robotics, announced that the company will unveil China’s first integrated cabin-and-driving AI chip, codenamed “Stellar,” at its annual product launch event on April 22. The Stellar chip consolidates intelligent cockpit and autonomous driving computing functions onto a single chip and a unified central domain controller, replacing the previous architecture that required two separate chips and two distinct domains. This integration simplifies vehicle wiring harnesses and thermal management systems and merges two memory subsystems into one—translating to cost savings of RMB 1,500 to 4,000 per vehicle amid rising memory prices. According to publicly disclosed data, Horizon achieved revenue of RMB 3.758 billion in 2025, an increase of 57.7% year-over-year, marking its fourth consecutive year of growth, with a gross margin of 64.5%. Automotive-related revenue accounted for 94.6% of total revenue and delivered a gross margin of 67.2%. In 2025, Horizon shipped a total of 4.01 million units of its automotive-grade Journey® series processors, up 38.8% year-over-year. Processors supporting mid- to high-tier advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) represented 45% of total shipments—4.8 times the volume recorded in the same period of 2024. Additionally, Horizon’s full-scenario urban ADAS solution, Horizon SuperDrive (HSD), entered mass production in November 2025, becoming China’s first large-scale intelligent driving model based on single-stage, end-to-end technology.
