Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia is partnering with CATL to produce hybrid vehicle batteries in Indonesia. The project, with an investment of IDR 1.3 trillion, will involve battery cell and module manufacturing at CATL's facility in Karawang, West Java, with related component production scheduled to commence in the second half of this year.
