At the 2026 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, Hubei SiEngine Technology Co., Ltd.—a subsidiary of Geely—unveiled its 5-nanometer automotive-grade AI cockpit chip, "Dragon Hawk II," with adaptation scheduled to begin in Q1 2027. Featuring a flexible architecture, the chip supports evolution from entry-level to flagship central computing platforms, addressing full-scenario requirements for AI cockpits and integrated cabin-and-driving systems. The Dragon Hawk II delivers 200 TOPS of AI computing power, natively supports multimodal large models exceeding 7B parameters, and features proactive intent-aware capabilities. It integrates a multi-core CPU offering 360K DMIPS performance, a GPU delivering 2,800 GFLOPS, and memory bandwidth reaching up to 518 GB/s, with support for LPDDR6/5X/5—designed to eliminate data bottlenecks in multi-screen interaction and AI computation. In terms of safety, the chip incorporates a dedicated vehicle control processing unit and a security island, supports the CAN-FD communication protocol, and achieves physical isolation between cockpit and driving functions through rigorous hardware partitioning and an independent redundant architecture. Established in 2018, Hubei SiEngine Technology Co., Ltd. was jointly founded by ECARX Holdings Limited and Arm China, developing products based on the ARM architecture.
