OpenAI has not officially announced this feature. A spokesperson for OpenAI stated that the company is exploring ways to let certain users who have hit their usage limits purchase additional capacity, aiming to enhance the product's usability and practicality. Additionally, OpenAI has recently begun offering ChatGPT Plus free of charge to college students. Anthropic is also providing promotional credits to Claude users and, in some cases, substantial amounts of free usage.
