Geely Auto announced on August 19 that its first hybrid D-SUV global model has been officially named the Monjaro EM-i. The vehicle is scheduled to launch globally at the end of August, with Egypt as its initial market. Built on Geely’s native new-energy GEA Evo architecture, the Monjaro EM-i is the brand’s first overseas model equipped with millisecond-response e-AWD intelligent electric all-wheel drive. The Monjaro EM-i is the overseas version of the Geely Xingyue L, which has already been introduced in markets including Russia, the Middle East, Australia, and Latin America, offering both a 2.0T gasoline-powered variant and a hybrid version. The addition of the Monjaro EM-i will further expand Geely’s global product lineup.
