Among them, plug-in hybrid exports totaled 1.557 million units, up 1.5 times year on year; the share of new energy vehicle exports exceeded 50% for consecutive months. On October 26, the real-vehicle testing for the shortlisted powertrains of the "China Heart" 2026 Top Ten Engines and Hybrid Systems was held at the Jialian Automotive Proving Ground in Gaoyou, Jiangsu. The event was hosted by Auto and Sport magazine and supported by outdoor brand TFO. A total of 14 engines and hybrid systems from SAIC Volkswagen, Volvo, GAC Trumpchi, Denza, FAW Hongqi, SAIC General Motors, FAW Audi, Horse Powertrain, FAW Toyota, Great Wall Motor, Chery Automobile, SAIC Motor, GAC Honda and Jiangling Ford were shortlisted for real-vehicle testing, including 9 plug-in hybrid systems, 2 hybrid systems and 3 pure combustion engines. The hybrid system equipped in the all-new Hongqi H9 adopts an 800V voltage platform, featuring a longitudinally mounted 2.0T hybrid engine and a longitudinally mounted front-drive two-speed hybrid transmission. BYD's integrated front-mounted exhaust technology solution under the Heyuan platform integrates the core components of the exhaust assembly into the front compartment and has already achieved mass production and installation. The Chery RELY Weilin Hi800 is equipped with a 2.5T plug-in hybrid system developed by Chery Weilan Powertrain, making it China's first mass-produced 2.5T diesel hybrid dedicated engine; its self-developed fully electronically controlled water-cooled bypass EGR module improves speed and precision by up to 50% compared with mechanical control systems. The Horse Powertrain Galaxy Warship 700 is equipped with an electric hybrid system, applying turbulence kinetic energy enhancement, precise EGR control and AI intelligent control technologies. Great Wall Motor shortlisted a 3.0T diesel engine developed for international pickup models, adopting more than ten NVH noise reduction technologies and meeting China VI b emission standards. The powertrain shortlisted by SAIC General Motors was led by its Chinese R&D team. GAC Trumpchi R&D personnel revealed at the technical briefing that its hybrid system will in the future be equipped on global models of joint-venture brands.
