Beijing Hyundai’s New ix25 to Unveil on Oct. 30

Beijing Hyundai's small SUV ix25 is about to usher in a new generation. IIA learned from Beijing Hyundai that the new generation ix25 will be available on October 30th. The new car is powered by a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine with a maximum power of 84.4 kW, matching the CVT gearbox.

The new generation ix25 front end uses a blackened honeycomb grille, which is unique in combination with the split-type lamp sets on both sides. The long vents at the front bumper and the large silvery lining add a sense of design.

The new ix25 has a length of 4,300 mm, a width of 1,790 mm and a height of 1,635 mm with a wheelbase of 2,610 mm. The design of the rear end is consistent with the front, which highlights the layering. The visual effect of the split taillights is outstanding. The brake light is connected to the taillights on both sides, divided the tail into upper and lower layers. The exhaust pipe has a hidden design.

The overall style of the new generation ix25 interior is simple. The flat-bottom multi-function steering wheel allows for the manipulation of multiple functions. The 12.3-inch digital instrument display is rich in content, and the integrated design of the center console is full of technology. The addition of intelligent security configurations such as 360-degree panoramic image and Baidu Intelligent Networking 3.0 system enhances ease of use.

The new car is powered by the same 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine as the Elantra, with a maximum power of 84.4 kW and a peak torque of 144 Nm. Matching with the CVT continuously variable transmission, the new car can have a fuel consumption of 5.8L per 100 kilometers.
