The GAC Group recently released its November production and sales report. The IIA was informed that GAC sold a total of 0.195 million passenger cars in November, a year-on-year decrease of 4.22%. From January to November, the cumulative sales volume of passenger vehicles was 1.873 million, a decrease of 4.06% year-on-year.
In November, GAC sold 194,968 passenger cars, a decrease of 4.22% from 203,551 units in the same period last year. Sales in the first 11 months were 1,873,315, a cumulative year-on-year decrease of 4.06%. From the perspective of models, the main reason for the decline in sales is the sluggish sales of SUV models. The cumulative sales in November and the first 11 months of this year have declined to varying degrees.
Regarding specific brands, the cumulative sales volume of GAC Toyota has increased by more than 10% in November and the previous November. GAC Honda ’s sales in November were 69,000 units, down 9.8% year-on-year, but its cumulative sales from January to November increased 5.25% year-on-year. GAC PV's sales declined significantly.
