On January 10, Great Wall Motor (GWM) released sales data for December 2019. According to statistics, in December, GWM sold 106,008 new vehicles. The cumulative sales of new vehicles from January to December were 1,060,298 units, a year-on-year increase of 0.69%.
GWM's brands include Haval, WEY, Euler and Great Wall Pickup. The four brands sold 78,391 units, 9,394 units, 2,653 units and 15,498 units of new vehicles in December 2019, respectively. In the year of 2019, the total sales volume reached 769,454 units, 100,043 units, 38,865 units and 148,830 units, respectively.
In overseas markets, with the continuous advancement of GWM's globalization strategy, the competitiveness of its brands in the global market is gradually strengthening. In 2019, Great Wall Motor sold 65,175 new vehicles overseas, a sharp increase of 38.68% year-on-year.
In the context of the sluggish auto market, Great Wall's four brands have achieved outstanding results in 2019. Among them, the Haval brand contributed a lot, becoming the 10th consecutive annual sales champion in the Chinese SUV market, and the other three brands are also moving forward steadily.
