It is reported that in August, Tesla launched a total of 23 supercharge sites in 15 cities in China, adding a total of 204 superchargers. Among them, there is a V3 supercharged pile located in Beijing China Central Place.

Tesla plans to build a total of 4,000 super charging piles in China in 2020 and is improving the domestic charging system to make charging more convenient and faster. Prior to this, the announced V3 charging pile has been operated.

According to the official data provided by Tesla, taking the Tesla Model 3 as an example, charging the Model 3 at the V3 super charging station for 15 minutes can supplement the cruising range of more than 200km. The biggest difference between the V3 super charging station and the V2 and V1 charging stations is that the V3 super charging pile adopts a new liquid-cooled wire and charging plug. With a better cooling effect, the V3 charging with new power electronic components is used. The pile can charge the vehicle with a larger current, thereby further shortening the charging time.

In addition to the increase in charging power, the liquid-cooled cables of the V3 Super Charging Pile have also been optimized. Compared with the wires of the V2 super charging pile, the liquid-cooled wires of the V3 super charging pile are two-thirds smaller in diameter, and the weight has been greatly reduced.
