Mitsubishi Chemical announced that its bio-based engineering plastic DURABIO™ has been used in the instrument panel of Honda's new mini electric vehicle, the N-ONE e:, which officially launched on September 12, 2025. DURABIO™, whose main component is plant-derived isosorbide ester, is the world’s first bio-based engineering plastic capable of replacing conventional bisphenol A (BPA)-based polycarbonate, offering outstanding sustainability and environmental benefits.
