NIO's all-electric compact car, Firefly, unveiled today a special edition called "Pegasus Rhapsody," co-created with Dutch artist Jordy van den Nieuwendijk. Limited to just 99 units, the special edition is priced at RMB 135,800, or RMB 95,800 under the battery-as-a-service (BaaS) plan. Deliveries will commence on January 18, featuring exclusive animated body graphics and bespoke interior accents including custom floor mats, soft cushions, and lumbar supports. Positioned as a limited collector’s edition for the Year of the Horse, this model celebrates the Chinese zodiac theme. The Firefly was originally launched in April 2025 with a manufacturer-suggested retail price ranging from RMB 119,800 to RMB 125,800. As of November last year, it had already achieved cumulative deliveries of 30,000 units. The vehicle measures 4,003 mm in length, 1,781 mm in width, and 1,557 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,615 mm. It is powered by a 42 kWh battery pack, delivering a CLTC-rated range of 420 km, and features a rear-mounted electric motor producing 105 kW, enabling a top speed of 150 km/h.
