At CES 2026, RoboSense and Hesai Group (CIDI Smart Driving) announced a strategic partnership. Building on over six years of collaboration, the two companies will continue to focus on scaling autonomous driving applications in scenarios such as autonomous mining trucks, smart campus logistics vehicles, intelligent buses, and V2X (vehicle-to-everything) technologies. Leveraging RoboSense’s technological strengths in digital LiDAR and CIDI’s expertise in commercial vehicle autonomy and vehicle-road coordination, the partnership aims to enhance transportation efficiency and operational stability of autonomous commercial vehicles in high-risk, closed environments like mines, ports, and industrial parks. CIDI is one of China’s earliest companies to integrate autonomous driving with vehicle-road协同 (V2X) applications and has accumulated extensive experience in mass production and delivery of autonomous mining trucks. RoboSense, meanwhile, collaborates with more than 310 automotive OEMs and suppliers globally, with its business spanning over 40 countries. This collaboration seeks to build a safer and more efficient autonomous driving ecosystem, accelerating the global transformation toward intelligent transportation.
