Recently, the official application images of BYD's all-new all-electric SUV, the Song Ultra, have been revealed. The vehicle continues the latest Dynasty Series family design language, with dimensions of 4,850 mm in length, 1,910 mm in width, and 1,670 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,840 mm—70 mm longer than the Song L DM-i—offering improved interior space. Exterior-wise, the front features a closed-off grille and full-width LED headlights, while the lower bumper and air intake ducts have been redesigned. At the rear, it retains the same signature taillights, complemented by a black lower bumper and chrome accents, emphasizing its crossover styling. Powering the Song Ultra is a single-motor rear-wheel-drive system delivering a maximum output of 270 kW and a top speed of 210 km/h. In terms of intelligent driving, the vehicle can be optionally equipped with a LiDAR sensor and is expected to feature BYD’s advanced “God’s Eye B” intelligent driving system, supporting both urban and highway NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) functions—addressing the previous intelligent driving shortcomings within the Song family lineup.
