On January 9, Zhu Meina, Deputy Director-General of the Standardization Administration of the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR), stated at a special press briefing that the next step will be to accelerate the development of national standards related to new energy vehicles, lithium batteries, and the photovoltaic industry. SAMR will also collaborate with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) to organize on-site standard promotion sessions, helping industries accurately understand and promptly implement the new standards to ensure their swift and effective application. This initiative aims to drive high-quality development of the "new trio"—new energy vehicles, lithium batteries, and the photovoltaic industry—through high-standard guidance.
