Recently, a TikTok user named May shared a video complaining that the vanity mirror in her Porsche Taycan 4S—purchased for approximately $160,000—is too small, measuring only about 3.9 by 1.6 inches. This is significantly smaller than the typical 6.5- to 7-inch-wide mirrors found in standard sedans like the Toyota Camry. In the video, she captioned, “This is a $160,000 car,” and jokingly added, “Clearly designed by men.” The video has since garnered over 3.7 million views. The Porsche Taycan 4S was led in design by Michael Mauer, the brand’s chief designer, and is known for its sporty performance and minimalist interior. However, some users argue that this approach sacrifices practicality. Reactions in the comments section are sharply divided: some question whether the car is worth its high price tag, while others retort, “A Porsche isn’t a makeup table.” Porsche has not yet issued a response to the criticism.
