BYD has officially unveiled the official application images of its all-new all-electric SUV, the Song Ultra. The vehicle continues the latest Dynasty Series family design language and measures 4,850 mm in length, 1,910 mm in width, and 1,670 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,840 mm—making it longer than the Song L DM-i and offering superior interior space. Powering the Song Ultra is a single rear-mounted electric motor producing 270 kW, enabling a top speed of 210 km/h—significantly outperforming the Song L EV in terms of performance. Exterior highlights include a closed-off front grille, full-width LED headlights, and a broader lower bumper design. At the rear, it retains the taillight design of the Song L DM-i, complemented by a black rear diffuser and chrome accents. The Song Ultra comes standard with 19-inch tires and has a curb weight of 2,050 kg. It also offers an optional LiDAR system and is expected to feature BYD’s advanced "God’s Eye B" intelligent driving system, supporting both urban and highway Navigation on Autopilot (NOA) functions—addressing the previous intelligent driving shortcomings within the Song family lineup.
