The official images of the all-new Avatr 12 have been officially released. The exterior retains the current design language, preserving the signature LED lighting cluster and highly recognizable front fascia. The most notable change is the relocation of the LiDAR sensor to the roof, adopting a mainstream "periscope-style" layout—potentially featuring Huawei's 520-line LiDAR—to enhance detection performance. The vehicle measures 5,020 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,470 mm (or 1,460 mm) in height, with a wheelbase of 3,020 mm. It rides on 20- or 21-inch wheels, features semi-recessed door handles, and integrates solid-state LiDAR units into the front fenders. At the rear, it maintains a closed rear window and an electrically actuated retractable spoiler. In terms of powertrains, the new model offers three configurations: - The range-extended version pairs a 1.5T range extender with dual rear motors (each rated at 200 kW), complemented by a 52.01 kWh battery pack, delivering a WLTC pure-electric range of 261 km. - The all-electric variants include a dual-motor rear-wheel-drive setup (each motor producing 251 kW) and a tri-motor all-wheel-drive configuration with a combined system output of 712 kW.
