BYD has recently launched the 2026 models of the Qin PLUS DM-i, Qin L DM-i, and Song Pro DM-i Long Range variants. All three models feature significantly increased battery capacity while maintaining their original pricing, delivering pure electric ranges exceeding 210 km. Notably, the Qin PLUS DM-i starts at just RMB 89,800, making it the first plug-in hybrid vehicle to offer over 200 km of pure electric range at a price under RMB 90,000. The updated models also reduce operating costs, with a remarkably low fuel consumption of only 2.79 L/100 km in charge-sustaining mode. Additional new features include the Yun Nian-C intelligent suspension system, DiLink 100 intelligent cockpit, and 5G-connected car technology. Higher trims of the Qin L and Song Pro further add practical amenities such as ventilated and heated seats, a head-up display (HUD), and an onboard refrigerator. This round of upgrades focuses on “invisible fundamentals,” aiming to enhance everyday driving experience and reinforce the competitive edge of BYD’s core models.
