At the recently opened Tokyo Auto Salon, Nissan officially unveiled the Aura Nismo RS concept car. Based on the Aura Nismo, the new concept features a range-extended powertrain combining a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with dual electric motors—delivering 201 horsepower to the front axle and 134 horsepower to the rear—and is equipped with Nissan’s e-4ORCE all-wheel-control system to enhance torque response and driving stability. Visually, the concept boasts an aggressive aerodynamic package, including red front, side, and rear bumpers, widened fenders, and a large rear spoiler. Finished in matte gray paint and fitted with lightweight track-oriented wheels, the car delivers a striking visual presence. The V-motion front grille and full-width LED taillights carry over Nissan’s signature design language, while red brake calipers further accentuate its sporty character. Interior details have not yet been disclosed. Reports suggest that a production version of this model could debut first in the Japanese market.
