BMW Group reported global deliveries of 667,981 vehicles in the fourth quarter of 2025, a 4.1% year-over-year decline, impacted by weak demand in both the U.S. and Chinese markets. Sales in the U.S. fell by 4.6% to 120,398 units, while deliveries in China plunged 15.9% to 160,556 units. Despite a 4% increase in European sales to 278,715 units, global battery-electric vehicle (BEV) deliveries declined by 10.5% year-over-year to 118,635 units. For the full year 2025, however, BMW’s total global deliveries edged up slightly by 0.5% to 2,463,715 vehicles. Deliveries of electrified models reached 642,087 units (+8.3%), with BEVs accounting for 442,072 units—approximately 18% of total annual sales. In Europe, BEV deliveries surged by 28.2% for the full year, representing a quarter of the region’s total sales. BMW stated that its technology-neutral and multi-brand strategy has gained market recognition and announced plans to launch its “Neue Klasse” (New Class) models across Europe in 2026, with more than 40 new models slated for introduction by 2027.
