At CES 2026, Smart Eye, a provider of driver monitoring systems, showcased a range of in-cabin intelligence technologies, headlined by its real-time alcohol impairment detection feature—awarded a CES 2026 Innovation Award. Leveraging real-world driving data, this technology identifies signs of impaired driving capability without requiring additional hardware and is already being delivered to customers via the AIS system. Additionally, Smart Eye exhibited several other innovations: Sheila, an empathetic AI assistant; bank-grade iris authentication; under-display camera integration; the compact DMS device AI ONE; the AIS system tailored for low-volume OEMs; and a Concept Development Kit (CDK) designed for early-stage development and testing. These solutions emphasize high integration, minimal intrusiveness, and production readiness, enabling OEMs to enhance cabin intelligence without adding integration complexity. Smart Eye’s technologies will also be featured at the booths of partners including Green Hills Software, Renesas Electronics, and Alps Alpine.
