On January 12, GigaDevice and Chery Automobile signed a strategic cooperation agreement to deepen collaboration across the entire value chain of automotive chips and jointly develop next-generation intelligent vehicle system solutions tailored for the AI era. As a fabless semiconductor company, GigaDevice has already achieved large-scale adoption in automotive-grade memory and MCUs, with over 300 million automotive-grade Flash chips and more than 8 million units of its GD32A-series automotive MCUs shipped to date. Under this partnership, GigaDevice will supply high-performance, highly reliable automotive-grade chip products, while Chery will leverage its expertise in vehicle platform development and system integration to support chip definition, validation, and optimization. The two companies will initially focus on intelligent cockpit and autonomous driving applications, establishing an end-to-end pipeline from chip development to mass production, accelerating commercialization, and advancing a new paradigm of "chip-vehicle co-innovation."
