FAW-Volkswagen has recently released official images of the new Sagitar S, which will be offered with two powertrain options: a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine and a 1.5T turbocharged engine. The model is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2026. The exterior retains the brand’s family design language, featuring integrated blacked-out headlights that connect seamlessly with the grille, complemented by sporty air intakes and aerodynamic vents for a more dynamic appearance. Sharp character lines run along the sides of the body, paired with conventional mechanical door handles and multiple wheel designs. At the rear, full-width LED taillights enhance visual recognition. The vehicle measures 4,702 mm in length, 1,815 mm in width, and 1,484 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,688 mm. Powertrain details include a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission (6AT), delivering a maximum output of 81 kW. The 1.5T EVO2 turbocharged engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission, producing a peak power of 118 kW.
