According to data from Gasgoo Automotive Research Institute, from January to November 2025, China's new energy passenger vehicle electrification core component supply chain exhibited three key characteristics: "concentration among leading players, domestic dominance, and deepening in-house supply by automakers." In the power battery segment, CATL (40.7%) and FinDreams Battery (26.3%) together captured over 67% of the market share. FinDreams-affiliated companies ranked first across multiple sub-segments, including battery pack assembly, battery management systems (BMS), and drive motors. Meanwhile, in-house developed products from automakers such as Tesla, NIO, and Leapmotor have entered the top 10 rankings in various categories, highlighting an accelerated push toward self-reliance and control over core technologies. Additionally, domestic suppliers in areas like power semiconductors have already surpassed certain foreign brands. Overall, industry resources are increasingly consolidating among market leaders. Smaller and medium-sized enterprises must focus on niche applications to build differentiated advantages, while automakers are pursuing a dual strategy of in-house supply and external partnerships, forging a new landscape of co-opetition.
