Audi's first full-size flagship SUV, the Q9, will officially debut this year, filling a long-standing gap in the brand’s lineup within this segment. As Audi’s first true three-row SUV, the Q9 will feature individual second-row seats and a walk-through aisle, targeting family-oriented buyers—particularly the "soccer mom" demographic. Competitors such as the BMW X7, Mercedes-Benz GLS, Cadillac Escalade, and Lincoln Navigator have already established themselves in this market for years, and Audi dealerships have been eagerly anticipating the Q9’s arrival. Tom McCollum, Chairman of the National Audi Dealer Council, stated that the Q9 will effectively attract customers who previously switched to the Chevrolet Tahoe or GMC Suburban due to the Q7’s limited space, adding bluntly, “The sooner it hits the market, the better.” Audi has previously announced that three major new models, including the Q9, will be launched soon.
