In 2025, the BMW Group delivered 625,527 BMW and MINI vehicles in the Chinese market, reaffirming China as its largest single market globally. Despite intensifying competition from domestic brands and other challenges, BMW maintained solid performance through a differentiated product strategy, reinforcing its core “driving pleasure” identity, and deepening local technological collaborations. High-end variants of the 3 Series accounted for over 50% of its sales, while annual deliveries of the M Series surpassed 10,000 units for the first time, marking a 27.9% year-over-year increase. Meanwhile, BMW is accelerating its investments in AI, intelligent driving, and battery technologies. Its self-developed AI platform, "Gaia," has already been widely deployed across China. In 2026, BMW plans to launch approximately 20 new models in China, including BMW, MINI, and motorcycles. Among these, the first locally produced NEUE KLASSE model—the long-wheelbase BMW iX3—will make its global debut in the first half of the year and go on sale in the second half, featuring innovative technologies such as Panoramic iDrive, the NEUE KLASSE electric drive system, and the "BMW Driving Super Brain."
