Škoda has officially unveiled the name of its first all-electric seven-seat SUV: the Peaq, scheduled to launch in summer 2026. Based on the Vision 7S concept car introduced in 2022, the Peaq is positioned as the brand’s “accessible flagship,” measuring approximately five meters in length and featuring a three-row seating layout tailored for families, emphasizing spaciousness, comfort, and zero-emission mobility. Developed on Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform, the Peaq will be offered in both rear-wheel-drive and dual-motor all-wheel-drive variants, with the high-performance version delivering around 250 kW. It is expected to feature a battery capacity of up to 89 kWh, enabling a WLTP-rated range exceeding 600 kilometers. Design-wise, the Peaq adopts Škoda’s “Modern Solid” design language, highlighted by a grille-less front fascia, flush door handles, and distinctive T-shaped lighting elements. Škoda describes it as the most expensive model in the brand’s history, yet it will be priced below key rivals such as the Kia EV9 and Volvo EX90, underscoring its strong value proposition.
