The BYD Seal 08 made its official debut recently, featuring the updated Ocean Aesthetics 2.0 design language with a dynamic and stylish exterior, 19-inch wheels, and a full-width taillight. The vehicle measures 5,150 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,505 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,030 mm. Powered by an 800V high-voltage platform and equipped with BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery, the Seal 08 is expected to achieve a CLTC-rated range exceeding 1,000 km. It also supports ultra-fast charging—just five minutes of charging can add up to 400 km of range. Additionally, the Seal 08 comes with rear-wheel steering, BYD’s Yunniu A intelligent chassis system, LiDAR sensors, and the advanced “God’s Eye 5.0” intelligent driving system.
