On March 13, iCAR, a brand under Chery, officially launched its first extended-range SUV—the V27—with prices ranging from RMB 169,800 to RMB 196,800. Positioned as a rugged, boxy mid-to-large SUV, the V27 is available in both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive variants, offering pure electric ranges of 210 km and 200 km respectively, and a maximum combined range of up to 1,230 km. Customers who place an order between now and May 31 will receive a complimentary ultra-suede roof lining (worth RMB 8,000) and a towing kit (worth RMB 4,000). The V27 features a bold exterior design with a two-tone grille, oval-shaped headlights, and a squared-off body. It measures nearly 5 meters in length with a wheelbase of 2,910 mm. Inside, the cabin sports a T-shaped dashboard, floating infotainment screen, and physical buttons. All trims come standard with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip (delivering 30 TOPS of computing power) and support multi-ecosystem smartphone connectivity. For intelligent driving, the mid and base trims are equipped with the Super Falcon 500 system powered by the Journey 6M chip (128 TOPS), while the top trim upgrades to the Falcon 700+ system, adding LiDAR and the more powerful Journey 6P chip (560 TOPS). This enables city and highway navigation assistance as well as end-to-end parking capabilities—from parking spot to parking spot.
