On March 13, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) released the 405th batch of its new vehicle registration catalog, featuring several highly anticipated models including the BYD Tang DM-i, Shangjie Z7/Z7T, and others. The Tang DM-i, positioned as the flagship seven-seat SUV in BYD’s Dynasty series, is equipped with the fifth-generation DM-i hybrid system, Yunniu-A intelligent damping system, and a dual-chamber air suspension. The Shangjie Z7 series targets younger consumers with its mid-to-large pure-electric sedan offerings, available in both single- and dual-motor configurations. The updated Aito M9 features refreshed exterior styling and enhanced intelligent driving capabilities, powered by Huawei’s next-generation LiDAR. Models such as the Seagull 08 and Lynk & Co 10 EV are built on high-voltage platforms, supporting ultra-fast charging and advanced intelligent driving functions. Additionally, the Chery Fengyun A9 EV, MG4 X, Leapmotor A05/D99, and Changan Eado HEV also made their debut, collectively covering a price range from RMB 100,000 to RMB 500,000.
