On March 17, at its technology refresh launch event, VOYAH announced that mass production and customer deliveries of its new flagship SUV, the VOYAH Taishan Ultra, have officially commenced, with a starting price of RMB 459,900. The vehicle is equipped with Huawei's Qiankun ADS intelligent driving system featuring a four-lidar configuration, including a high-resolution roof-mounted lidar and solid-state blind-spot lidars on the sides and rear. Combined with a new domain controller and advanced algorithms, this setup significantly enhances pedestrian and obstacle detection capabilities. Additionally, the front of the vehicle integrates five distributed 4D millimeter-wave radars, improving lateral perception in complex driving scenarios and enabling active horn alerts and automatic evasive maneuvers to avoid vehicles cutting in. Positioned as the second-highest trim level, the Taishan Ultra offers specifications close to those of the previously launched "Black Warrior" edition (priced at RMB 509,900). The Taishan Max and Max+ trims start at RMB 379,900 and RMB 409,900, respectively.
