The all-new Arcfox Alpha S5 by BAIC officially launched today, offering both all-electric and range-extended variants, with a subsidized starting price of RMB 99,800. The range-extended version delivers a CLTC pure-electric range of 230 km and a combined range of up to 1,450 km. The all-electric variant offers a range between 630 km and 720 km, with the all-wheel-drive model accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds. Exterior styling follows the brand’s “AeroSculpture” design philosophy and debuts three new color options: Phantom Green, Varna Blue, and Lava Gray. Notable features include an active rear spoiler and frameless doors. Inside, the cabin is available in three interior color schemes and equipped with 256-color ambient lighting, a 19-speaker audio system, and a zero-gravity passenger seat. For intelligent driving, the vehicle is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Ride™ 8775 chip and utilizes a dual-camera vision system with inertial navigation, supporting urban and highway NOA (Navigate on Autopilot). The chassis, co-tuned by Magna, features a front MacPherson strut and rear multi-link suspension setup.
