At the "Chery Auto Battery Night 2026" event held on March 18, Chery officially unveiled its new Rhino Battery and the "Xunlong Flash Charging" ultra-fast charging technology. The Rhino Battery supports a peak charging power of up to 1,200 kW, enabling a 500-kilometer range boost in just 8 minutes (as fast as 5 minutes in certain scenarios). It boasts a cycle life of 5,000 charges and has undergone rigorous multi-scenario validation across 25 million kilometers, demonstrating reliability under extreme temperature variations and harsh conditions through multiple layers of safety design. Launched alongside it, the "Xunlong Flash Charging" technology integrates V2G (vehicle-to-grid) bidirectional energy interaction, ammonia-fueled energy storage, and high-efficiency SiC components, achieving a system efficiency exceeding 96.5%. Chery also announced its "10 Cities, 100 Stations" V2G initiative, initially deploying 100 V2G ultra-fast charging stations across 10 cities. The company plans to expand this network to over 20,000 Xunlong Flash Charging stations by 2029, building a global intelligent energy replenishment ecosystem.
