Huawei's Qiankun Intelligent Driving Open Challenge opened for registration today (March 19). The official competition will kick off on March 25, with the final leaderboard announced on April 10. All vehicles equipped with Huawei’s Qiankun ADS V4.1 intelligent driving system are eligible to participate, including all models from Harmony Intelligent Mobility and Avatr, as well as select models from Deepal, GAC Trumpchi, Fangcheng Bao, and M-Hero. Participants must enable driver fatigue detection and hands-off-wheel alerts. Continuous driving exceeding four hours or the use of cheating devices such as counterweights or tape is strictly prohibited. Huawei emphasized that the current Qiankun intelligent driving system is solely an advanced driver assistance system, and drivers must remain attentive at all times and be ready to take control of the vehicle immediately.
