NIO’s all-new flagship all-electric SUV, the ES9, will launch in 2026 with an expected price exceeding RMB 600,000, aiming to fill the gap in the premium electric executive SUV segment. Built on NIO’s latest all-electric architecture, the ES9 measures 5,365 mm in length, 2,029 mm in width, and 1,870 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,250 mm—making it larger than the Rolls-Royce Cullinan—and features wheels up to 23 inches in diameter. The ES9 carries forward NIO’s signature design language and is equipped with LiDAR and high-definition cameras, enabling advanced intelligent driving capabilities. Powering the vehicle are dual motors (front and rear) delivering a combined output of 520 kW and peak torque of 700 N·m, enabling a top speed of 220 km/h. It comes standard with CATL’s 102 kWh battery pack and supports NIO’s battery swap technology, allowing a full battery replacement in just three minutes. Leveraging the advantages of its dedicated EV platform, cutting-edge intelligent features, and NIO’s battery-swapping ecosystem, the ES9 will complement the ES8 to form a strategic product duo, targeting the premium market segment from RMB 400,000 to over RMB 600,000.
