Aion UT Sport Launches: $53,800 Lease Price, 99-Second Battery Swap, 500km Range

On March 20, GAC Aion officially launched the UT Sport. With battery leasing, the vehicle’s purchase price starts at RMB 53,800, and the monthly battery rental fee is offered at a limited-time lifetime promotional rate of RMB 399 per month. The new model features a striking black-and-white two-tone body with red-to-black gradient decals, complemented by a sporty front lip, quad-round headlights, wide-body side skirts, and a large rear spoiler, giving it an aggressive exterior design. Under the hood, it’s powered by a single 100 kW electric motor, delivering a CLTC-rated range of 500 km. It supports CATL’s 99-second ultra-fast battery swap technology and is compatible with both fast charging and home charging. For smart features, the UT Sport comes equipped with a 14.6-inch center touchscreen and an 8.88-inch digital instrument cluster, running Huawei Cloud-based infotainment system that supports over 20,000 apps and seamless connectivity with smartphones across multiple brands. In terms of safety, it offers class-exclusive features including a reversing sentry mode, 540-degree panoramic camera system, and an anti-misacceleration function.
