On the morning of March 23, Xiaomi Auto held the first delivery ceremony for its new-generation SU7 in Shenzhen. Founder Lei Jun and Chinese sprinting star Su Bingtian jointly handed over vehicles to customers, with Lei personally opening car doors for them. Lei stated on Weibo that to address previous delays in deliveries, the company had started production two months ahead of schedule and prepared a batch of ready-to-deliver vehicles, enabling deliveries as fast as within one week—truly achieving “delivery upon launch.” The SU7 was officially unveiled on the evening of March 19 and began customer deliveries just four days later on March 23. It is reported that Xiaomi plans to produce up to 16,000 SU7 units this month. The new model is available in three trims: Standard (RMB 219,900), Pro (RMB 249,900), and Max (RMB 303,900). All variants come standard with long-range batteries, offering CLTC-rated ranges of 720 km, 902 km, and 835 km, respectively. Additionally, three new exterior colors—Capri Blue, Chasing Red, and Indigo Green—have been introduced.
