From January to February this year, the Khorgos Port in Xinjiang exported 54,000 commercial vehicles, a 13.9% year-on-year increase, marking a record high for the same period in history. Among these, new energy vehicles (NEVs) have gained widespread popularity in the five Central Asian countries and Russia, becoming the main export category. A local international freight forwarding company revealed that it exported over 900 vehicles during the same period, has already secured authorizations from multiple domestic automakers, and is expanding its overseas service network. To cope with the surge in exports, Khorgos Customs has implemented 24/7 clearance services, streamlined procedures, and promoted a "self-driven export fast-track clearance model." It also supports enterprises in efficiently exporting vehicles via China-Europe freight trains, car carriers, and other methods, ensuring smooth overseas shipments of domestically produced automobiles.
