Li Auto announced that its first fully automated charging station will officially launch in Q2 2026, ushering in a new era of "seamless energy replenishment." During the charging process, drivers won’t need to leave their vehicles—cars will autonomously handle station navigation, parking, and charging. Robotic arms will automatically plug in and unplug the charging connectors, completely eliminating the inconvenience of manual operation in rainy, snowy, or freezing conditions. As of Q1 2026, Li Auto has built more than 4,000 ultra-fast charging stations with over 22,000 charging piles, covering more than 280 cities nationwide. Among these, over 570 stations support 5C ultra-fast charging, and approximately 70% of all charging piles are either 5C or 4C models. On expressways, Li Auto has deployed charging infrastructure along 18 national-level highways, with an average of one station every 127 kilometers. More than 1,200 service area stations enable drivers to recharge without exiting the highway. During this year’s Spring Festival holiday, Li Auto’s expressway charging stations accounted for 15.9% of the total charging volume on China’s national expressway network.
