The all-new, redesigned Mercedes-Maybach S-Class has made its official debut, reaffirming its position as the flagship luxury sedan. The exterior features multiple new "double M" badges, an illuminated upright emblem, a larger grille, and side skirt projection lights that highlight its exclusive identity. Inside, the cabin boasts a three-screen layout, dual 13.1-inch rear-seat tablets, and over 400 interior color combinations, along with enhanced sound insulation and adaptive air suspension. Under the hood, the U.S.-spec S680 retains its 621-horsepower V12 engine, while European and other stringent-emission markets receive a 604-horsepower V8 instead. The S580 sees its output increased to 530 horsepower. The plug-in hybrid S580e delivers a combined system output of 577 horsepower and offers an all-electric WLTP-rated range of approximately 98 kilometers (about 61 miles). The new Maybach S-Class will arrive in the United States in the second half of this year, with European orders opening on March 25.
