On March 27, the fifth-generation Wuling Hongguang MINIEV officially launched, offering two range variants—205 km and 301 km—and four trim levels, with trade-in subsidy prices ranging from RMB 42,800 to RMB 51,800. The new model features three retro-inspired exterior colors: "Green Serenity," "Fluffy White," and "Cute Gray." It measures 3,268 mm in length, 1,520 mm in width, and 1,575 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,190 mm and a turning radius of just 4.5 meters. Interior upgrades include a column-mounted gear shifter, a 10.1-inch central touchscreen, a multifunction steering wheel, and 20 storage compartments, while the trunk offers a maximum capacity of 838 liters. Powering the vehicle is a 30 kW electric motor with an energy consumption as low as 8.9 kWh per 100 km, supported by three charging options including DC fast charging. The infotainment system enables remote vehicle control and scheduled climate control, and will soon support Apple CarPlay, Huawei HiCar, and CarLink via OTA updates.
