Great Wall Motor’s all-new Tank 700 will officially open for pre-orders on March 30. Today, Wei Jianjun, Chairman of Great Wall Motor, announced that he will drive the vehicle in Shanghai for a full-day live stream, during which he’ll explore photography, discuss automotive culture, and showcase a “modern lifestyle.” The new model features an aggressive design language, incorporating “Qilin” (Chinese mythical creature) elements and a unique “Dunhuang Blue” paint option. It is equipped with a honeycomb grille, hood air intakes, a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor, and blacked-out wheels (available in either 20- or 21-inch sizes). The vehicle measures 5,105 mm in length, 2,061 mm in width, and 1,985 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. Under the hood, it is powered by an engine delivering a maximum output of 185 kW, paired with a 59.05 kWh ternary lithium battery pack. It offers a CLTC-rated all-electric range of 190 km and a combined fuel consumption of 8.45 L per 100 km.
