Leapmotor D19 Flagship SUV Launches with BEV and EREV Versions, Starting at RMB 219,800

On April 16, Leapmotor launched its tech-luxury flagship SUV—the Leapmotor D19—offering both all-electric and extended-range variants, with an official price range of RMB 219,800 to RMB 269,800. The all-electric version is equipped with a 115 kWh battery pack, delivering a CLTC-rated range of 720 km and featuring a full-stack 1000V electric powertrain system. The extended-range variant comes with an 80.3 kWh battery, offering a CLTC pure-electric range of 500 km and is built on an 800V high-voltage extended-range platform. Positioned as a full-size flagship SUV, the D19 features a "nine-cross-three-longitudinal-four-loop" cage-like body structure with a torsional rigidity exceeding 50,500 N·m/deg. Its battery system incorporates ten layers of aerospace-grade safety protection, with the manufacturer claiming it will neither catch fire nor explode within 72 hours after thermal runaway. Inside, the cabin features a five-screen 3D interactive system, including a 60-inch AR-HUD, a 17.3-inch central touchscreen, and a 21.4-inch rear-seat display. The interior is upholstered in full-grain, semi-aniline top-layer leather. The right-side second-row seat offers up to 120 degrees of recline with genuine zero-gravity functionality, while the third row provides ample space. In terms of performance, the all-electric tri-motor AWD variant achieves a 0–100 km/h acceleration time in the 3-second range. All models come standard with CDC dampers, dual-chamber closed air suspension, and an AWD system. For intelligent driving, every model is equipped with LiDAR and debuts dual Qualcomm Snapdragon 8797 chips, delivering 1,280 TOPS of computing power. It supports VLA large-model-assisted driving and features automatic emergency braking (AEB) from 4–150 km/h and automatic emergency steering (AES) from 80–130 km/h.
