BMW discontinued the 6 Series in 2019, having already launched the 8 Series at that time. With production of the 8 Series now ending, rumors are circulating that the 6 Series could make a comeback. If revived, the model is expected to adopt BMW’s latest Neue Klasse design language. Unofficial renderings depict a new two-door coupe featuring BMW’s fresh design cues, including a narrow grille integrated into the headlights and smooth, flowing lines that appear more harmonious than those of the i3’s front fascia. While the rear end isn’t as compact as that of the original 6 Series, it conveys a muscular and dynamic stance, highlighted by slim taillights and a clean, understated diffuser. Previously, the 6 Series was offered in multiple body styles—including two-door coupe, convertible, four-door Gran Coupe, and Touring wagon—positioned as a luxurious, high-performance grand tourer.
