BYD Seagull 08 Reveals Interior Details: Mother-of-Pearl Trim, Full Soft-Touch Surfaces, Power Leg Rests Front and Rear

The interior details of the BYD Seagull 08 have been unveiled, featuring a color scheme named "Dawn Light Beige." The dashboard and door panels are adorned with iridescent mother-of-pearl trim pieces, each boasting a unique grain pattern. The cabin features full soft-touch materials throughout and is equipped with power-closing doors, an in-car fragrance system, and an expansive segmented panoramic sunroof, delivering an impressive cabin space utilization rate of 84.4%. The front seats are dual zero-gravity seats offering one-touch recline, ventilation, heating, and massage functions. The rear seats come with electric leg rests and are expected to support adjustable backrest angles. Built on an 800V high-voltage platform, the vehicle measures 5,150 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,505 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,030 mm. It is powered by BYD’s DM-i plug-in hybrid system, featuring a 115 kW engine, second-generation Blade Battery, flash charging technology, rear-wheel steering, and the Yunniu A intelligent suspension system. BYD claims the car’s all-electric range could exceed 1,000 kilometers, with just five minutes of charging adding up to 400 kilometers of range. The Seagull 08 is scheduled to launch in Q2 2024.
