The Wey V9X officially launched pre-sales on April 17, with a starting price of RMB 371,800. As the first model built on Great Wall Motor’s Guiyuan S platform, it is positioned as an “AI-powered luxury six-seater flagship” and features the brand’s proprietary “Super Hi4” hybrid powertrain architecture. In terms of exterior design, the V9X adopts an “Oriental Classical Architectural Aesthetics” design language. The front fascia features a star-ring-style full-width light bar and an illuminated floating logo. Traditional door handles are used, while the rear incorporates a full-width taillight assembly with elliptical elements on both sides that integrate intelligent driving status indicators. Inside, the cabin features an integrated dual-screen setup combining the central infotainment display and a passenger-side entertainment screen. The second row is equipped with zero-gravity seats featuring leg rests, along with an overhead entertainment screen and a foldable tray table. The third-row seats also offer comfort-enhancing features such as massage functionality. The V9X is available in two wheelbase variants: standard and long. The standard-wheelbase version measures 5,205 mm in length—84 mm shorter than the long-wheelbase variant—while both share identical width and height dimensions. The standard version has a wheelbase of 3,050 mm, which is 100 mm shorter than that of the long-wheelbase model. Powering the vehicle is a system comprising a 2.0T engine, a dedicated 4-speed hybrid transmission, and an 800V high-voltage architecture. It supports 6C ultra-fast charging and achieves a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 4.4 seconds on a full charge. The chassis is equipped with Great Wall’s self-developed large-angle rear-wheel steering system and a closed-loop dual-chamber air suspension. Developed on the Guiyuan S platform, the V9X integrates the OMS+VLM dual-perception system and the Loffee EEA 4.0 electronic/electrical architecture. This platform aims to deliver an AI-driven intelligent cockpit and vehicle-wide system capable of “recognizing people, remembering events, and understanding emotions,” addressing users’ needs across all driving scenarios.
