On April 16, 2025, AITO announced that cumulative deliveries of its M8 model have surpassed 170,000 units. Since its launch, the vehicle received over 80,000 firm orders in its first month, delivered more than 20,000 units within 45 days, reached 120,000 deliveries in 200 days, and achieved 170,000 deliveries within one year. Positioned as a flagship family-oriented vehicle for all-scenario mobility, the AITO M8 is available in both extended-range and all-electric variants. The extended-range version offers a CLTC pure electric range of up to 322 km and a combined range of 1,590 km. The all-electric variant features Huawei’s 800V high-voltage integrated seven-in-one electric drive system, delivering a CLTC range of 705 km and supporting fast charging from 30% to 80% in just 15 minutes. In terms of intelligence, the M8 is equipped with Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 4 advanced driver-assistance system, which includes a total of 38 sensors—such as an 896-line dual-path imaging-grade LiDAR and three high-precision solid-state LiDARs. The intelligent cockpit runs HarmonyOS Cockpit 5.0 and features an ultra-multi-screen interactive system, a 32-inch retractable projection screen, and HUAWEI SOUND audio. Design-wise, the M8 adopts AITO’s “Kunpeng Soaring Realm” family design language and is offered in eight exterior colors. The interior features Nappa leather, ultra-suede headliners, wood trim accents, zero-gravity seats, and a built-in cooler/warmer compartment. In third-party evaluations, the AITO M8 ranked second in Net Promoter Score (NPS) in its debut appearance in the “2025 Second-Half New Energy Vehicle Brand Health Study.” Additionally, the model has earned multiple certifications, including C-NCAP (2024 edition) 5-Star+ safety rating, “5-Star Healthy Vehicle” certification from the China Automotive Health Index (C-AHI), Platinum-level rating in CA-CAP whole-vehicle corrosion resistance testing, and several technical validations from China Automotive Technology & Research Center (CATARC).
